Job description

We are seeking a Solution Architect to help customers successfully adopt Siemens AI and Data products across industrial and enterprise environments. In this role, you will serve as the technical bridge between product capabilities and customer outcomes, helping customers translate complex business and operational challenges into scalable, production-ready AI products.

This is a highly customer-facing role for someone who combines:

  • strong solution architecture and AI/ML expertise,

  • comfort engaging with customer engineering, data, and executive stakeholders,

  • the ability to create reference architectures, implementation patterns, technical content, and enablement assets, and

  • deeply understand customer needs, design solutions, create architecture assets, support field teams, and act as a technical liaison to product organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with customer engineering, digital, and business teams to understand their business goals, technical landscape, and data/AI ambitions.

  • Translate customer requirements into solution blueprints, deployment patterns, data flows, integration approaches, and implementation roadmaps.

  • Support lighthouse customers, pilots, and co-creation engagements that validate product-market fit and create reusable deployment patterns for broader scale.

  • Author and contribute to reference architectures, whitepapers, technical blogs, demos, implementation guides, and workshops that accelerate customer adoption.

  • Evangelize best practices for Siemens AI and Data products internally and externally through customer forums, technical sessions, partner engagements, and industry events.

  • Build reusable technical assets that help sales teams, partners, and customer teams understand how to adopt Siemens AI solutions quickly and safely.

  • Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Business Development, Marketing, and Partner teams to align customer needs, product direction, and technical adoption strategies.

  • Act as the voice of the customer by bringing field feedback into product and engineering discussions, helping refine roadmaps, priorities, and technical capabilities.

  • Support regional and global go-to-market motions by enabling Sales Specialists, Technical Consultants, and partners with technical content and architecture guidance.

  • Help customers connect data domains such as PLM, operations, machine logs, documentation, manuals, and production data to Siemens AI products.

  • Identify reusable architecture patterns that help Siemens scale AI across automation, engineering, manufacturing, operations, and adjacent industrial domains. Support strategic opportunities with direct architecture involvement, workshops, proof-of-concept guidance, and executive-level technical storytelling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data/AI, or a related technical field.

  • 10+ years experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, cloud architecture, AI/ML solution design, or technically complex customer-facing roles.

  • Hands-on experience designing and guiding implementation of solutions involving AI/ML, generative AI, data platforms, cloud services, APIs, integration patterns, or industrial/enterprise software.

  • Ability to engage both technical teams and senior stakeholders, translating business objectives into technical architectures and adoption plans.

  • Proven experience creating technical artifacts such as architecture diagrams, technical blogs, implementation guides, workshops, or executive technical presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Several years of experience with industrial AI, manufacturing software, automation, operations technology (OT), engineering tools, or industrial data ecosystems.

  • Experience with generative AI / LLM architectures, AI application design, model integration, and customer-facing AI adoption journeys.

  • Background in industries such as manufacturing, automotive, logistics, consumer goods, retail, energy, or industrial operations.

  • Experience building or guiding proofs of concept, prototypes, and production solution patterns for enterprise customers.

  • Demonstrated ability to act as a trusted advisor to customer engineering, data, and leadership teams.
