Job description
Microsoft Fabric, Python, SQL, Data Engineering, Data Modeling, ETL/ELT, Power BI What You Will Do
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data solutions within Microsoft Fabric.
- Build scalable, reliable, and high-performing data pipelines supporting analytics and reporting initiatives.
- Design and optimize data models for reporting, analytics, and downstream applications.
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, and validation across multiple enterprise data sources.
- Develop ELT/ETL workflows using Microsoft Fabric Data Factory and related Fabric services.
- Optimize data ingestion, storage, and processing performance.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
- Implement data quality, governance, and security best practices.
- Partner with BI developers and data consumers to deliver trusted enterprise datasets.
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.
- Recommend best practices for Microsoft Fabric architecture and implementation.
Requirements
- 4-5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Fabric experience in production environments.
- Strong experience designing and managing enterprise-scale data pipelines.
- Expertise in data modeling, data integration, and data cleansing techniques.
- Advanced Python development experience for automation and data engineering.
- Strong SQL skills with experience optimizing complex queries.
- Experience working with large enterprise datasets.
- Experience designing scalable cloud-based data solutions.
- Strong understanding of data governance and data quality practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative, consulting mindset., * Power BI experience.
- Azure Data Factory.
- Lakehouse architecture.
- Data Warehouse implementation.
- Financial Services experience.
- Experience with Spark, PySpark, or notebooks within Fabric.
