Cybersecurity professional, Data Loss Prevention

The SE Data Leakage Prevention Specialist is responsible for safeguarding Siemens Energy’s sensitive data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction. This role involves implementing and managing data leakage prevention (DLP) solutions, monitoring data activities, and ensuring compliance with data protection policies. The specialist will work closely with various departments to protect data across all endpoints and networks.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Deploy and manage DLP solutions across Siemens Energy’s IT infrastructure, including endpoint clients, servers, and cloud environments
• Monitor and analyze data activities to detect and prevent unauthorized data transfers and leaks
• Adhere to Data Leakage Prevention process and assist in developing and enforce data protection policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards
• Respond to and investigate data leakage incidents, providing detailed reports and recommendations for remediation
• Utilize metadata logged by DLP solutions to support incident management and forensic investigations
• Work with IT, legal, and compliance teams to ensure data protection measures are aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements, You will be part of a small, unified team that spans multiple functions, working closely with colleagues in Spain and beyond. Our global team collaborates on generation power plants across 24 countries, ensuring that we deliver innovative solutions to our clients. You will have the opportunity to work with different stakeholders and gain visibility with other departments, enhancing your professional growth and understanding of the energy sector.

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Familiarity with DLP tools and technologies, such as Microsoft Purview.
• Strong understanding of data protection regulations and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for data protection.
• Fluent in English (C1).
