Job description

An award-winning design-led practice is seeking a talented and committed Architect to join its London studio. This role offers the opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of regenerative and sustainable projects throughout the UK, ranging from large-scale masterplans and education projects to hospitality, residential and community-focused developments. The studio brings together architects, masterplanners and interior designers with a shared ambition to create places that respond sensitively to landscape, heritage and community. Sustainability and regenerative design principles sit at the heart of every project, with a focus on delivering meaningful, long-term outcomes for people and the environment. Responsibilities: Lead and contribute to innovative design solutions across a variety of project sectors and RIBA stagesPrepare architectural design proposals, drawings, presentations, specifications and technical informationManage client relationships and coordinate consultant teams throughout project deliveryAttend and lead meetings with clients, contractors and stakeholdersEnsure compliance with UK Building Regulations, planning requirements, CDM and the Building Safety ActCoordinate with contractors, engineers and surveyors through construction stagesTake ownership of project programmes, budgets and project deliverySupport planning applications and stakeholder consultation processesEngage with local communities and project stakeholders to deliver inclusive, people-centred design outcomesParticipate in design reviews and quality assurance processesAssist with business development activities, including tender submissions, bids and presentations

Requirements

ARB Registered ArchitectExperience managing projects across multiple RIBA stagesStrong design, technical and project management skillsExcellent working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflowsExperience leading small teams and mentoring junior staffSound understanding of UK Building Regulations, CDM and Building Safety requirementsKnowledge of planning application proceduresExcellent communication and client-facing skillsPassion for sustainable and regenerative designInterest in landscape, ecology and heritage-led projectsRendering skills (Enscape, V-Ray or similar) desirableHand drawing skills advantageousFluent written and spoken EnglishEligibility to work in the UK About the Practice: The practice is recognised for its commitment to regenerative and sustainable design, delivering thoughtful projects that strengthen connections between people, place and nature.
