Job description

  • Provide expertise to IT leaders to ensure broad alignment on cost management, including sourcing and demand optimization opportunities.
  • Lead procurement for SaaS, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support negotiation activities, including preparation, analysis, and execution for assigned agreements.
  • Lead sourcing initiatives across their lifecycle, including strategy development, market engagement, supplier evaluation, and coordination through contracting and implementation
  • Partner with IT, Legal, Finance, and other departments to align procurement with business needs ensure effective coordination of sourcing and contracting activities.
  • Implement process improvements and use data to optimize both Supplier’ performances and supply chain strategies.
  • Drive consistency and scalability in sourcing practices by establishing structured approaches to managing demand, supplier engagement, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Conduct business reviews with strategic suppliers, measure performance, and establish plans for continuous improvements.
  • Prepare analytics, metrics, and dashboards to demonstrate business problems, solutions, and benefits for the supplier management team.
  • Ensure that agreements’ terms and conditions are thoroughly reviewed and documented and that risks are mitigated.
  • Oversee the maintenance and inventory of technology contract data including the support, warranty, lease, maintenance and software contract and license information.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in Engineering, Business, or Supply Management preferred.
  • Between 6-8 years of progressive experience in sourcing/procurement in a supply chain or strategic sourcing team required.
  • Experience supporting supplier relationships and managing assigned engagements within established contracts.
  • Intermediate skill level with MS Office Suite and advanced skill level with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint required.
  • Experience with procurement platforms (e.g., Oracle, Salesforce).
  • Experience supporting negotiations and contributing to value creation in supplier engagements.
  • Professional certifications strongly preferred (Certified Property Manager, Certified Professional in Supply Management, or Certified in Planning and Inventory Management).
  • Approximately 5% travel may be required to support the position’s responsibilities.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
