Job description

Your proactive, hunter mindset will be crucial as you engage with target customers, attend industry events, workshops, and fairs, and manage the entire lead-to-contract process. You are expected to use consultative selling skills along with a strong understanding of the data centre and technology industries to discover opportunities and achieve quota attainment in the enterprise/wholesale co-location segment. You will be able to demonstrate consistent historic success in developing new client relationships by meeting or exceeding sales targets in the sector. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high growth listed real estate and infrastructure organization with significant earnings potential.

More concretely, this means you will get the opportunity to:

Generate New Business

  • Build and execute a sales strategy to acquire new enterprise and wholesale colocation customers across Spain.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of opportunities through targeted prospecting and market engagement.
  • Achieve ambitious growth targets while expanding Goodman's presence in the Spanish market.

Build Strategic Customer Relationships

  • Develop trusted relationships with key decision-makers up to C-suite level.
  • Understand customer needs and position Goodman’s solutions as a strategic business enabler.
  • Create long-term partnerships that support customer retention and future growth.

Lead Complex Sales Opportunities

  • Manage the full sales cycle from qualification through negotiation and contract execution.
  • Coordinate internal resources (sales engineer, marketing) to deliver tailored commercial and technical solutions.
  • Act as a market expert, representing Goodman at industry events and customer engagements

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of proven success in a consultative selling area, ideally engaging with C-level executives in the IT Services/data centre/telco/network environment.
  • Familiarity with Iberian and mediterranean marketplace, companies and community.
  • Strong network of partners relationships.
  • A track record of closing sales of Data Centre / Co-Location solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of and skilled in contract interpretation, negotiations and project management.
  • Strength in problem solving, issue-resolution, ability to work in a deadline-driven work environment, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Fluency in English, and Spanish (other languages are an asset).
  • Excellent written, numerical and communication capabilities.
  • Energy, enthusiasm and strong self-motivational skills.

About the company

Goodman is seeking an experienced Data Centre Sales Manager (based in Madrid) to join our expanding Data Centre project team. The ideal candidate will drive new sales and revenue growth in a Spain. Primary function of the role is to prospect for new client relationships with enterprise Spanish customers, including MSE (Madrid Stock Exchange)-listed and large/mid-sized companies., About The Team You will join our Spanish team of approximately 30 professionals based across Madrid and Barcelona. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues from our Marketing and Data Centre Delivery teams across Continental Europe, collaborating with a diverse group of experts to drive business growth and deliver successful customer outcomes.
