Job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused IT Applications Support Analyst to join our Sage Homes IT team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting, administering, and configuring a range of critical business applications, including CRM, Document Management and Customer Portal solutions.
As part of a close-knit team , you will work closely with business stakeholders, end users, third-party vendors, and technology teams to ensure our applications are operating effectively and continue to evolve in line with business needs.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide 1st and 2nd line support, administration, configuration, and change management for key business applications. You will also contribute to business-as-usual activities and support the delivery of strategic application improvements and technology roadmap initiatives.
The role is based in our London office with hybrid working arrangements of three days per week in the office and two days from home available., * Provide administration support for key business applications in response to approved requests.
- Configure and maintain business applications to meet operational requirements.
- Deliver 1st and 2nd line support, troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolutions.
- Support end users through effective training and guidance.
- Record and manage incidents, requests, and changes using the appropriate service management tools.
- Track, monitor, and report on application issues and support activities.
- Assist with software testing, deployments, system upgrades, and application enhancements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, subject matter experts, vendors, and IT colleagues to resolve issues and deliver improvements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the application landscape.
- Assist with project administration and implementation activities as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Applications Support Manager or Head of IT.
Requirements
You will be passionate about technology, highly organised, and committed to delivering excellent customer service. You will be a quick learner who can adapt to changing priorities while building strong relationships across the business as well as:
- Experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar CRM platforms.
- Experience supporting Microsoft SharePoint or comparable document management systems.
- Previous experience working within a Service Desk or Application Support environment preferred.
- Experience delivering training and support to end users.
- Strong Microsoft Excel support skills.
- SQL query writing experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users.
- Degree educated or equivalent preferred, although relevant experience will be considered equally valuable.
