Job description

This is not a traditional internal IT architecture role. You will work across legal processes, technology and commercial delivery, supporting projects such as M&A transaction management, due diligence automation, contract lifecycle management and regulatory workflows., * Design secure, scalable solutions across workflow, document management, data, AI and knowledge systems

  • Map legal processes and translate them into technical architectures
  • Build integrations using APIs, webhooks and automation frameworks
  • Produce process maps, data flows, sequence diagrams and technical specifications
  • Support GenAI, LLM, RAG and agent-based legal technology solutions
  • Advise stakeholders on delivery costs, timescales and architectural risks
  • Ensure solutions meet security, confidentiality, GDPR and information governance requirements

Requirements

Candidates must have experience gained within a:

  • Law firm
  • Alternative legal services provider
  • Legal operations or legal technology team
  • Legal technology software provider

You must understand at least one end-to-end legal workflow, such as M&A due diligence, transaction management, contract lifecycle management, regulatory work or litigation.

Technical experience

  • REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, JSON, XML, OAuth and SSO
  • Model Context Protocols and agent-driven solutions
  • LLM integrations, prompt engineering and RAG architecture
  • Workflow automation and orchestration
  • Microsoft 365 and Azure integrations
  • Data modelling and schema design
  • Document management systems
  • Data security, access controls and information governance

You will need strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to explain technical solutions clearly to lawyers, partners, clients and technology teams.
