Job description
This is not a traditional internal IT architecture role. You will work across legal processes, technology and commercial delivery, supporting projects such as M&A transaction management, due diligence automation, contract lifecycle management and regulatory workflows., * Design secure, scalable solutions across workflow, document management, data, AI and knowledge systems
- Map legal processes and translate them into technical architectures
- Build integrations using APIs, webhooks and automation frameworks
- Produce process maps, data flows, sequence diagrams and technical specifications
- Support GenAI, LLM, RAG and agent-based legal technology solutions
- Advise stakeholders on delivery costs, timescales and architectural risks
- Ensure solutions meet security, confidentiality, GDPR and information governance requirements
Requirements
Candidates must have experience gained within a:
- Law firm
- Alternative legal services provider
- Legal operations or legal technology team
- Legal technology software provider
You must understand at least one end-to-end legal workflow, such as M&A due diligence, transaction management, contract lifecycle management, regulatory work or litigation.

Technical experience
- REST APIs, Microsoft Graph API, JSON, XML, OAuth and SSO
- Model Context Protocols and agent-driven solutions
- LLM integrations, prompt engineering and RAG architecture
- Workflow automation and orchestration
- Microsoft 365 and Azure integrations
- Data modelling and schema design
- Document management systems
- Data security, access controls and information governance
You will need strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to explain technical solutions clearly to lawyers, partners, clients and technology teams.
