Job description

  • Drive technical innovation to support automation and efficiency, serving both Stripe users and internal teams;
  • Collaborate with user-facing teams to understand operational challenges and implement robust technical solutions;
  • Design and implement features to power Stripe’s global 24/7 support operation.
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code with appropriate monitoring and observability;
  • Build support for initiatives by sharing compelling data, and measure outcomes to demonstrate successful execution;
  • Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions;
  • Partner with product and design teams to deliver excellent user experiences., Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

Requirements

Must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, plus 3 years of software development experience.

Must also have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Building production software systems with well-tested code;
  • Front-end and back-end software development;
  • Designing, building, and maintaining functional applications including web-based agent tooling platforms, case management and routing systems;
  • Integrating and maintaining multiple systems and processes including cloud-based infrastructure platforms, database systems, API gateways, authentication systems, and CI/CD pipelines;
  • Developing software solutions that support internal operations or customer workflows;
  • Writing software in Ruby, React, or TypeScript;
  • Building and maintaining high-throughput API services; and
  • Improving system performance and operational efficiency

Benefits & conditions

Salary: $161,637.00 - $213,800.00/yr.

This salary range represents the base salary range for the role and any sales commissions / sales bonuses targets, if applicable, would be in addition to the base salary.

40 hrs/week

100% Telecommuting permitted.

Multiple Positions Available.
