ICT Security Analyst

• Monitor and analyse security events, alerts, and potential cyber threats.
• Support the investigation and response to security incidents, including containment and recovery activities.
• Identify vulnerabilities and assist with risk assessments and security improvements.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of ICT security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Provide practical security advice and guidance to teams across the organisation.
• Assist with security reviews of systems, applications, suppliers, and technology changes.
• Support compliance with relevant cybersecurity frameworks, legislation, and best practices.
• Help maintain accurate security documentation, reports, and risk registers.
• Contribute to cyber awareness initiatives and promote secure working practices.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to improve information security.
• Support continuous improvement of security processes and operational resilience.

• Previous experience working in an ICT Security Analyst, Cyber Security Analyst, Information Security Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats, and risk management.
• Experience monitoring security alerts and investigating incidents.
• Knowledge of security controls, policies, and procedures.
• Familiarity with information security frameworks and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide security guidance to non-technical colleagues.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team.
• Relevant qualifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, CEH, or equivalent experience are desirable., * ICT Security Analyst or similar: 1 year (required)
