Job description

This is a varied and hands-on technical position which combines IT support, infrastructure management, consultancy and project delivery.

· Technical Support & Escalations

· Provide 1st, 2nd and 3rd line technical support to clients.

· Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking and cloud-related issues.

· Troubleshoot Microsoft 365, Windows Desktop and Windows Server environments.

· Provide remote, telephone and onsite support when required.

· Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues.

· Infrastructure Management

· Install, configure and maintain Microsoft services

· Monitor and maintain client infrastructure to ensure reliability and security.

· Perform proactive maintenance and system health checks.

· Networking & Security

· Configure and support network infrastructure (Draytek/HP/Watchguard)

· Investigate and remediate security incidents and vulnerabilities.

· Automation & Process Improvement

· Develop scripts and automation solutions to improve efficiency using:

· PowerShell

· RMM platforms

· Microsoft 365 tools

· Create standard operating procedures and technical documentation.

The Senior IT Support Consultant position is a Hybrid role with Offices based in Kings Lynn. The office working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am till 17.00pm. Please note the role may require some out of hours work for projects and planned maintenance.

Our client is looking for an experienced and customer-focused IT Support & Solutions Consultant. The ideal candidate will enjoy solving complex technical challenges, working directly with clients, and contributing to the development of innovative IT solutions and internal processes.

The role will also provide opportunities for the successful candidate to develop leadership and management skills and to take on progressively more responsibilities., To be considered for the Senior IT Support Consultant position you must have a minimum of 5 years of IT experience, this is an ideal position for someone who is looking to move into a management role.
