Job description

We’re seeking a highly organized and experienced individual to serve as a Grant System Coordinator, responsible for the overall performance of Coordinated Entry throughout the House Idaho Collaborative (HIC). As a Grant System Coordinator, you’ll provide leadership and quality assurance to each Access Point, ensure compliance with HUD requirements, and oversee grant administration and management. In This Role, You Will:

  • System Administration: Coordinate Access Point activities statewide, oversee Access Points draws and monthly expenses, recommend and implement process improvements, and facilitate regular Access Point meetings
  • Technical Support: Provide orientation and training for new Access Points, produce and distribute CE user manuals, assist and instruct users on data collection, and serve as the technical expert for the CE system
  • System Accountability: Promote and enforce system integrity, conduct regular CE satisfaction surveys, produce and present quarterly and annual reports, and evaluate individual AP performance
  • Policies and Procedures: Ensure CE policies and procedures are compliant with HUD requirements, revise policies and procedures, and provide training on policy and procedure updates
  • Community Relations: Conduct presentations statewide, ensure the CE system is well understood and utilized by partners, serve as the community outreach team lead, and maintain and build partner relationships
  • Project Management: Oversee planning and implementation of new statewide programs, identify and collaborate with affected groups, and plan and track project life cycle and deadlines
  • Other job duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in homelessness assistance, with proficiency in Housing First principles and Coordinated Entry Systems
  • Strong program management, customer service, and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience with community planning, partnership building, and data systems (e.g. HMIS)
  • Ability to travel (20% of the time) and conduct training sessions on complex topics
  • Effective communication and stakeholder relations
