Job description

We’re looking for a business-minded Data Analyst to be the connective tissue between our operations, marketing, and executive leadership. This isn’t a back-office reporting role. You’ll sit close to the COO and leadership team, turning data from across our markets into the insights that drive how we grow, where we invest, and how we hold the business accountable.

If you get excited about building a dashboard that actually changes a decision - and frustrated by reports nobody reads - you’ll fit in here.

What You’ll Do

  • Own our operational dashboards across marketing spend, surgery volume, funnel conversion, surgeon performance, and ROI by market
  • Define and track the KPIs that matter - and push back when we’re tracking the wrong ones
  • Diagnose bottlenecks in the patient journey, from lead to consult to surgery, and surface where we’re losing momentum
  • Support market expansion decisions with breakeven analysis, forward planning models, and scenario forecasting
  • Partner with marketing on channel performance, CAC, and attribution across paid, organic, and referral
  • Brief executive leadership with clear, actionable insights - not just charts, but recommendations
  • Build the data foundation as we scale into new markets, including data hygiene, source-of-truth definitions, and reporting cadence

What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months)

  • Leadership opens your dashboards weekly and uses them to drive decisions
  • Time from question to answer drops significantly - leadership stops waiting on data
  • Data across markets is consistent, trusted, and auditable
  • You’ve identified at least three meaningful business levers (a leaky funnel stage, an underperforming channel, a high-ROI market) that translated into action

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, * 3+ years in analytics, business intelligence, finance, or strategy - ideally at a fast-moving, multi-location, or services business

  • Fluent in Excel and SQL; comfortable in at least one BI tool (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
  • Business-first mindset: you start with the decision, then work back to the data - not the other way around
  • Clear written and verbal communicator; can brief a non-technical executive in five minutes
  • Strong instincts for what’s worth measuring and what’s noise
  • Comfortable building from scratch, self-starter

Bonus points for

  • Experience in healthcare services, multi-location consumer health, or concierge/elective medicine
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics (CAC, LTV, attribution, funnel metrics)
  • Experience supporting market expansion or unit economics modeling
  • Python or R for deeper analysis
  • Background in a high-growth startup or PE-backed operating environment
