  • Develop and maintain integrations between on-premises and cloud-based business applications.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of existing custom applications and integrations by participating in peer reviews of application code, SQL objects, APIs, and integrations to promote shared technical ownership, quality, maintainability, and long-term supportability of business-critical systems.
  • Design, develop, and support integrations for current and future enterprise applications, including ERP, fleet management, and cloud-based software platforms while ensuring financial and operational data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues across enterprise applications.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Continuous Improvement to implement business requirements through scalable technical solutions.
  • Recommend improvements to application architecture, development standards, engineering practices, and technical documentation.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies that improve integration capabilities, reliability, and business value.
  • Provide regular project updates and perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Advanced Microsoft SQL Server development skills.
  • Experience developing and supporting REST APIs.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and data modeling.
  • Ability to understand complex data flows across multiple enterprise systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and improve existing applications and integrations.
  • Ability to understand business processes and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ability to evaluate the impact of changes across interconnected enterprise systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple technical initiatives.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small technical team.
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience designing, developing, and supporting enterprise integrations or business applications.
  • Experience developing integrations between multiple business systems.
  • Experience designing and supporting integrations with ERP, accounting, financial, or other enterprise business systems.
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and financial data flows.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, REST APIs, ETL, and cloud-based integrations.
  • Experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions preferred.
