Job description

  • Debug and validate platform hardware and firmware components.
  • Analyze PCIe Gen5 link training, enumeration, and connectivity issues.
  • Investigate system failures using logs, telemetry, Redfish, and IPMI tools.
  • Support provisioning pipelines, firmware updates, and compliance validation.
  • Perform root cause analysis for platform stability, performance, and reliability issues.
  • Troubleshoot FPGA, CPLD, BMC, BIOS, GPU-specific firmware-related issues.
  • Validate rack-level telemetry, cooling systems, power sequencing, and sensor health.
  • Develop automation and debug tools using Python and scripting languages.
  • Collaborate with Silicon, BMC, Fabric, and Validation teams.
  • Document findings and track issues through JIRA/Azure DevOps (ADO).

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of server hardware and platform architecture.
  • Experience with PCIe high-speed interconnects and firmware debugging.
  • Knowledge of Redfish, IPMI, Linux, and hardware diagnostics.
  • Experience with log analysis, root cause investigation, and platform validation.
