Job description

Platform Debug Engineer to support platform bringup validation debug and failure analysis of next generation AI accelerator systems.

The role involves troubleshooting hardware firmware PCIe networking and system level issues while collaborating with cross functional engineering teams., * Debug and validate platform hardware and firmware components

Analyse PCIe Gen5 link training, enumeration and connectivity issues
Investigate system failures using logs, telemetry, Redfish and IPMI tools
Support provisioning pipelines, firmware updates and compliance validation
Perform root cause analysis for platform stability, performance and reliability issues
Troubleshoot FPGA, CPLD, BMC, BIOS, GPU specific FW related issues
Validate rack level telemetry, cooling systems, power sequencing and sensor health
Develop automation and debug tools using Python and scripting languages
Collaborate with Silicon, BMC, Fabric and Validation teams
Document findings and track issues through JIRA/ADO

Requirements

Strong understanding of server hardware and platform architecture
Experience with PCIe high speed interconnects and firmware debugging
Knowledge of Redfish, IPMI, Linux and hardware diagnostics
Experience with log analysis, root cause investigation and platform validation
Scripting experience in Python, Bash or PowerShell
Excellent debugging, troubleshooting and communication skills, * Experience with AI accelerator, GPU or ASIC-based platforms
Familiarity with FPGA/CPLD technologies and liquid-cooled systems
Knowledge of provisioning pipelines and automated validation frameworks, * 5 years of experience in Platform Validation, Hardware Debug, Firmware Validation or System Integration.
