Job description

We are seekingatalented Growth Engineer to join our Tesla RobotaxiVehicle Software Team. This pivotal role will focus on driving user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization for the Robotaxi service through innovative, data-driven strategies and technical solutions. At Tesla Robotaxi,we’renot just building autonomous vehicles;we’reredefining how people experience transportation and scaling a groundbreaking service to millions. As a member of theVehicle Software Robotaxi Team, you will play a critical role in shaping our expansion strategy. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, marketers, and programmanagers to design, implement, andoptimizegrowth initiatives that accelerate the adoption of Robotaxi services and maximize their global impact. What You’ll Do

  • Develop and implement technical solutions to enhance user acquisition, onboarding, retention, and revenue growth for the Tesla Robotaxi platform

  • Design and execute A/B tests and experiments tooptimizeuser experiences, including app engagement, ride booking conversion rates, subscription models, and overall service adoption

  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and operations teams toidentifygrowth opportunities unique to autonomous transportation and translate them into actionable technical requirementsand implementation

  • Analyze user behavior and service metrics to uncover patterns,identifybottlenecks, and propose innovative solutions to scale the Robotaxi user base

  • Build tools and systems to automate andoptimizegrowth processes, ensuring seamless integration with Tesla’s broader ecosystem of products and services

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience as a software engineer, with a focus on user growth (acquisition, activation, retention) or experience in monetization strategies such as subscriptions or dynamic pricing models

  • Possess strong coding skills, ideally in full-stack development (web and backend), and have hands-on experience with data analysis and experimentation frameworks

  • Take a data-driven approach to problem-solving, with an ability to spot trends and opportunities in user behavior and service performance metrics

  • Are passionate about the potential of autonomous transportation to transform lives and are eager to tackle the unique challenges of scaling acutting-edgemobility service

  • Thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment and enjoy collaborating with diverse, cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals

  • Have creative ideas for experiments to drive user growth oroptimizemonetization in a mobility-as-a-service context

  • Be adept at diving into complex datasets to uncover actionable insights for scaling user adoption

  • Possess a bold vision for the future of autonomous transportation and a relentless drive to turn that vision into reality

Expected Compensation $172,000 - $312,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
