Job description
Mode of Work: Hybrid (Austin, TX Onsite Wednesdays & Fridays | Local Candidates Only) The Technical Project Lead Data, Cloud & AI will lead enterprise data engineering and AI transformation initiatives by managing cross-functional teams, project execution, and strategic technology programs. This role is responsible for overseeing project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and stakeholder communications while ensuring successful delivery of cloud, analytics, business intelligence, and AI solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical leadership experience across enterprise data platforms, cloud technologies, healthcare data, and digital transformation initiatives., Lead enterprise Data, Cloud, Analytics, and AI projects from initiation through implementation. Coordinate cross-functional teams including business, engineering, cloud, AI, and data stakeholders. Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations. Define project scope, objectives, milestones, timelines, and success metrics. Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests. Lead enterprise data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing initiatives. Oversee business intelligence, analytics, and big data projects. Support healthcare data integration initiatives utilizing industry standards. Collaborate with architects, developers, data engineers, analysts, and business leaders. Prepare executive-level project status reports and stakeholder communications. Monitor financial performance, project forecasting, and resource utilization. Ensure projects align with organizational governance, quality standards, and strategic objectives. Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, schedules, lessons learned, and status reports. Additional Responsibilities: Support AI adoption and digital transformation programs. Facilitate stakeholder meetings, workshops, and project governance reviews. Coordinate vendor activities and third-party deliverables. Support continuous process improvement and project management best practices. Mentor project teams and promote collaboration across technical and business organizations.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience leading enterprise technical projects or programs. Experience managing Data Engineering, Analytics, Cloud, and AI initiatives. Extensive experience leading: Data Architecture Data Modeling Data Warehousing Business Intelligence Big Data Projects Experience supporting healthcare data initiatives. Working knowledge of healthcare standards including: FHIR CCDA HL7 Strong SQL and database knowledge. Experience managing: Project Scope Budgets Forecasting Resource Planning Financial Reporting Experience using: Jira Azure DevOps Microsoft Project Smartsheet Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive audiences. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and complex enterprise programs. Strong documentation and project governance experience. Working knowledge of cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and data systems. Ability to work independently while leading multiple priorities. Preferred Skills: Healthcare industry experience. Experience working in regulated environments. Knowledge of compliance, security, and data governance. Experience supporting AI, advanced analytics, or digital transformation programs. Strong understanding of: SDLC Enterprise Architecture Information Management IT Processes Consulting and facilitation experience. Customer-focused stakeholder engagement skills. Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud platforms., Proven success leading enterprise technology transformation projects. Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making abilities. Excellent facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in fast-paced environments. Strong collaboration with technical and business stakeholders. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) Required PgMP Preferred PMI-ACP Preferred SAFe Certification Preferred TOGAF Certification Preferred Azure Solutions Architect Certification Preferred AWS Certified Solutions Architect Preferred Google Cloud Professional Certification Preferred Preferred skills Technical Project Management Data Engineering Cloud Technologies AI & Analytics Data Architecture Data Warehousing Business Intelligence PMP
