Job description

Fisher House Foundation seeks a collaborative, relationship-driven leader to serve as our Manager of FH Network Support. In this role, you’ll be the Foundation’s primary support partner for Fisher House Managers across the country, helping them succeed through communication, training, operational guidance, and resource coordination. You’ll collaborate with colleagues across the Foundation, as well as our partners with the Department of War and Veterans Affairs, while ensuring our nationwide network continues to deliver exceptional experiences for the families we serve., As the operational connector across our national Fisher House network, you will:

  • Serve as the Foundation’s primary point of contact for Fisher House Managers and VA and DoW Program Managers across 100+ houses.
  • Manage network-wide operational reporting, occupancy statistics, and data collection, and interpret data to inform leadership decisions.
  • Lead the orientation and ongoing education of Fisher House Managers on Foundation programs, initiatives, and resources, designed to support house operations.
  • Serve as the primary lead on program and content creation for annual in-person training.
  • Work with the Manager of Community Partnerships to coordinate donor-supported in-kind gifts, volunteer opportunities, and operational resources.
  • Manage centralized resource fulfillment for Fisher Houses, including wish list reconciliation, promotional items, publications, and special shipments.
  • Manage and coordinate Fisher House Manager/Program Manager support of Foundation external events.
  • Collaborate with other Foundation departments to support Foundation initiatives.
  • Develop tools, resources, and standard operating procedures that improve consistency across the network.
  • Provide ongoing support to Community Relations programs and initiatives.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

General Foundation Support:

In addition to essential duties, all staff are expected to:

  • Assist and represent the Foundation at events, as requested.
  • Be readily available throughout the workday to engage and assist donors and partners and

assist with other tasks not outlined in the job description if needed or as requested.

Requirements

Fisher House Foundation seeks a strategic, highly organized, and detail-focused team player with strong interpersonal skills and someone who or has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience - required.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in program management, operations, nonprofit management, military support, or related fields.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience supporting geographically dispersed teams or multiple locations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience planning meetings, conferences, or training events.
  • Experience in Salesforce or other Customer Relationship Management platforms preferred.
  • Ability to handle and maintain the integrity of sensitive and confidential information with excellent judgment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to organize, prioritize work, take initiative, and work independently with minimal supervision while collaborating across departments.
  • The ability to thrive in a deadline-driven role, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work well under pressure with patience and positivity.
  • Can manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Enjoys building relationships and helping others succeed.
  • Thrives in a collaborative, mission-focused environment.
  • Is an excellent communicator, facilitator, and problem solver.
  • Ability to present information concisely and effectively, both verbal and in writing; to include public event speaking.
