Power Platorm Release Manager

Manages and organizes code in Azure DevOps and/or GitHub repositories; maintains/improves code management practices.

• Provides guidance to developers on code merging and solution promotion.
• Administers and maintains Dynamics 365 environments, ensures sandbox/production sync, manages user roles and permissions.
• Ensures compliance with enterprise/solution architecture and best practices.
• Conducts hands-on configuration, development, and implementation of Dynamics CRM components.
• Follows Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodology.
• Completes technical design documentation and deliverables.
• Monitors Microsoft Wave releases and proactively manages updates.
• Performs environment refresh activities including post-refresh data and configuration updates.
• Automates recurring tasks using scripting and AI agents.
• Adheres to organizational policies and participates in special projects as assigned.
• Preference given to candidates local to Northern Virginia or Washington, DC metro area.

Requires Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technology, engineering, or computer science.

• Minimum 7 years’ experience in technical development roles; at least 5 years working with Microsoft Dynamics.
• In-depth technical and administrative experience with Dynamics 365 Sales, including configuration, security, and customization.
• Advanced knowledge of Git SCM including PR-based development, code merge resolution, and cherry-picking.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps or VSTS.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with Power Portal setup, configuration, Dataverse environment management, and data cleanup.
• Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Visio).
• Core responsibilities include release management, scheduling/coordinating PI deployments, and tracking release progress/issues using Azure DevOps.
