Database Administrator II

Minimum Education Required

Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field, Hexaware seeks Database Administrator II to work in Iselin, NJ and various unanticipated locations throughout the US to design and implement databases in accordance to end-users’ information needs and views. Provide proactive and reactive data management support and training to users. Develop and maintain database documentation, including data standards, procedures, and definitions for data elements and tables in the company. Generate weekly and monthly reports and provide to data visualization team and stakeholders for them to make business decisions. Must have Master’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field, plus two years of IT experience. The two years must include two years of experience with any one of the following skillsets:

• Kafka, JIRA, and GitHub; OR

• SQL Server, MongoDB, and SolarWinds.

In lieu of a Master’s Degree and two years of IT experience, will accept Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related field, plus five years of progressive post-bachelor’s IT experience. The five years must include two years of experience with any one of the following skillsets:

• Kafka, JIRA, and GitHub; OR

• SQL Server, MongoDB, and SolarWinds.

Number Of Positions, All experience may be acquired concurrently. Domestic travel and relocation to various unanticipated locations throughout the US may be required up to and no more than 10%, based on Hexaware’s business needs, and will be reimbursed by employer.
