Senior IT Technician

This role will focus on project design and deployment, as well as handling complex escalations from the helpdesk. Deep Microsoft experience is required., * Setup and deploy a wide range of technology: firewalls, switches, access points, servers, vms, backup solutions, printers, etc.

• Work as part of a team to onboard new customers and complete project work

• Interpersonal skills: phone, written, active listening, and customer care are critical
• 10+ years of experience building and deploying complex architectures: modern, cloud, hybrid, on premises, etc.
• Advanced understanding of operating systems, databases, business applications, printing systems, and networks (LAN, WAN) systems
• Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery

Educational/Vocational/Previous Experience Recommendations:

• BSc/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline
• Professional certifications from Microsoft, Fortinet, ConnectWise, or in cybersecurity are a plus, * Microsoft: 6 years (Required)
• Server management: 5 years (Required)
• Cloud architecture: 4 years (Required)
• Computer networking: 5 years (Required)
• Firewall: 5 years (Required)
