Job description

Role: Perform Software Configuration Management in support of Navy programs.

Requirements

  • Experience with Software Configuration Management processes.
  • Experience with Software CM documents (such as SVD, SCMP, etc).
  • Experience performing CM functions on a major program of reasonable size and complexity.

Tools:

· Experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications and Linux/UNIX operating systems.

· Experience with Software Configuration Management collaboration tools, defect tracking tools, and version control tools for documents, with actual experience utilizing forge.mil and SharePoint a major plus.

· Working knowledge of Software Configuration Management Source Version Control tools such as GIT, CVS, Subversion, etc., with actual experience utilizing GIT a major plus.

· Working knowledge of PC-based software tools for integration, build, and release of software, with actual experience utilizing Maven/Artifactory/Jenkins a major plus.

· Experience with Bitbucket, SonarQube, and Jira a plus.

Supporting skills:

  • Ability to perform some scripting and programming tasks.
  • Ability to configure development environment/pipeline.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to pay meticulous attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work extra hours to support tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally., * Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification (or within 6 months of hiring).
  • CompTIA Windows or Linux operating system certification (or within 6 months of hiring).
