Cybersecurity Engineer 2

Cybersecurity Engineer 2 will support governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) initiatives across a large federal operational environment. This role focuses on maintaining and enhancing cybersecurity governance platforms and ensuring system compliance with DoD security policies and regulatory requirements., Support the sustainment and enhancement of GRC platforms including RSA Archer.

• Maintain Microsoft Windows Server environments supporting cybersecurity tools and applications.
• Conduct configuration management, patching, and lifecycle maintenance for GRC infrastructure.
• Analyze information assurance requirements and implement technical controls to ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, workflows, and technical procedures.
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, and integration with enterprise cybersecurity tools.
• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation of system security issues.
• Collaborate with system owners and security teams to improve cybersecurity governance processes.
• Assist with system testing, validation, and security compliance assessments.

7+ years of relevant IT / cybersecurity experience

• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Must meet DoD 8570 / 8140 IAT Level III certification requirements - candidate must possess one of the following certifications: CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH CCSP
• Must meet DoD 8570 / 8140 CND-IS certification requirements - candidate must possess one of the following certifications: CEH, GICSP, GCIH, GCIA, CFR
• Must be eligible for IT Level II access
• Computing Environment Certification: Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or 2019 Certification
• Computing Environment Certification: RSA Archer Certified Administrator
