Oracle Apps DBA

We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle Apps DBA with strong experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The candidate will be responsible for managing mission-critical EBS environments, driving cloud transformation initiatives, and ensuring system stability, performance, and security across enterprise landscapes., * Manage and administer Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2 environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Perform database administration activities including installation, upgrades, patching, cloning, and migrations.
• Execute EBS application and database tier administration, including AutoConfig, AD/TXK patching, and ADOP online patching.
• Design and manage OCI-based infrastructure (Compute, Storage, Networking, IAM, Monitoring).
• Lead EBS migration and cloud transformation projects to OCI.
• Monitor system health and proactively troubleshoot application, database, and infrastructure issues.
• Implement and manage backup, recovery, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity solutions.
• Configure and support high-availability architectures ( Data Guard, load balancing).
• Automate routine tasks using Shell scripting, SQL, and PL/SQL to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and optimize performance.
• Enforce security, compliance, and audit controls across EBS and OCI environments.
• Maintain detailed technical documentation, SOPs, and operational procedures.

• 8 12 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience with Oracle EBS R12.1/R12.2 administration.
• Expertise in Oracle Database (11g/12c/19c or higher).
• Experience in EBS cloning, patching, and online patching (ADOP).

• Hands-on experience with OCI services, including:

• Compute & Storage
• Networking (VCN, Load Balancers)
• Identity & Access Management (IAM)
• Monitoring & Logging
• Backup & Disaster Recovery
• Proven experience with EBS migration to OCI.
• Strong knowledge of RMAN, Data Guard, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements., * Experience in OCI migration or cloud modernization programs.
• Knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and platform services.
• Experience with WebLogic administration.
• Oracle certifications (OCI, Database, EBS)., * Strong experience managing large-scale production environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in both production support and project delivery environments.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, OCI Resource Manager).
• Exposure to DevOps and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Experience in hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
