Network Field Technician/IT Infrastructure & Break-Fix Specialist (Hydrid)

Install, rack, stack, and cable network infrastructure. Install and configure server racks, switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, UPS battery backup systems, servers, and network appliances. Run, terminate, test, certify, and label Cat5e/Cat6 network cabling. Punch down patch panels, keystone jacks, and 66/110 punch blocks. Install and configure audio/video equipment, TVs, conference room technology, security camera systems, and network-connected devices. Mount televisions (up to 50 lbs.) independently while following proper safety procedures. Install and troubleshoot surveillance camera systems and wireless networks. Perform hardware upgrades, replacements, and preventative maintenance. Diagnose and repair routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, servers, workstations, printers, scanners, and other network devices. Troubleshoot Windows workstations, Windows Server environments, Microsoft 365, printers, and third-party software applications. Provide remote support using remote access tools for hardware, software, peripherals, and network connectivity issues. Document work performed, update service tickets, and maintain accurate records. Deliver exceptional customer service while communicating professionally with clients.

We’re looking for an experienced, motivated technician who enjoys both field installations and remote technical support. This is a hybrid role combining project-based deployments with break-fix troubleshooting and customer support., 3+ years of IT field service or network infrastructure experience. Experience with rack and stack installations. Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking. Experience configuring routers, switches, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and wireless networks. Experience terminating and testing Cat5e/Cat6 cabling. Comfortable working on ladders and mounting equipment. Ability to independently lift and install equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, software, and network connectivity issues. Experience supporting Microsoft Windows and Microsoft 365 environments. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Willingness to travel for installations when needed.
