Cloud Web Applications Lead

• Lead architecture and design of modern full-stack applications on AWS
• Define standards for micro-frontends and modular application components
• Architect frontend and backend solutions using React, TypeScript, and Node.js
• Develop strategies for real-time rendering, complex visualizations, and data-intensive workflows
• Implement scalable patterns for processing large datasets using WebGL, D3.js, and related tools
• Establish API, cloud architecture, performance, and security standards
• Drive integration approaches across existing application ecosystems
• Partner with development and UX teams and provide technical guidance
• Build proof-of-concepts to evaluate emerging frameworks and visualization techniques

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, and 10+ years of full-stack web application architecture and development experience (including AWS environments)
• Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3
• Expertise with modern frontend frameworks such as React
• Experience with custom application development, micro-frontends, and modular architectures
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and cloud-native backend services
• Strong knowledge of WebGL, Realtime rendering, and visualization frameworks such as D3.js

Bonus Points if You Have:

• Experience with geospatial or mapping technologies (Google Maps APIs, Open-source mapping tools)
• Experience with AWS-hosted web applications and cloud deployment strategies
• Experience using Generative AI tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude AI, etc.)
• Knowledge of GenAI prompting best practices and reviewing AI-generated content
