Job description

The Quality Engineer Lead plays a vital role in the support and development of our Quality Engineers, and Technician, and ultimately responsible for ensuring that products and services delivered have gone through the appropriate manufacturing / repair / validation process, prior to final handover to the customer. Lead and maintain the implementation validation process Responsible for the analysis of all data to develop quality improvement plans, ensuring their effectiveness and efficiency Ensure that products and services delivered to the customers have gone through the appropriate manufacturing / repair / validation process Undertake QRQC (8D) as required to support timely operational throughput as required What You’ll Bring: Demonstrable experience in utilising QA Tools such as APQP, PPAP, Control Plans, and FMEA Sound Engineering / Quality background with experience of Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment (Aerospace/Defence/Automotive preferred) Experience of leading other team members, providing support and expertise relating to quality activity In depth understanding of regulatory, international and quality management standards Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to initiate and maintain relationships with challenging international suppliers and manage frequent interactions with Senior Management and other internal customers Ability to challenge individuals at all levels to ensure compliance to business processes and standards At Safran, we understand that diversity and inclusion make teams stronger and more effective, and as an organisation, we are committed to fair and equitable employment practices for everyone.
