Data Analyst

The Division of Insurance is seeking a temporary/contract Data Analyst to support data-driven reporting and analysis efforts. This role will assist in responding to data calls, developing dashboards and visualizations, and translating complex data into clear, actionable insights., * Analyze and interpret datasets to support internal and external reporting needs

• Develop dashboards or data visualizations for reports and presentations
• Assist with data calls, including data collection, validation, and organization
• Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Assist in drafting various reports for both internal and external audiences

The ideal candidate has a background in mathematics, data science, data analytics, computer science, actuarial or a related field, and brings a well-rounded academic or professional experience that extends beyond technical coursework. A writing sample will be required as part of the application process. Prior experience in insurance is preferred but not required.
