Requirements

I’m looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a talented team of software engineers while remaining close to the technology. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who combines strong technical expertise in C#/.NET with a passion for building high-performing teams and delivering high-quality software. As Engineering Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving engineering excellence, mentoring developers, shaping technical direction, and working closely with Product, Architecture, and senior stakeholders to deliver scalable, modern software solutions. What will I be doing? Lead, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers through coaching, regular feedback, and career development.Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance engineering culture.Manage team capacity, delivery planning, and prioritisation to ensure successful project outcomes.Work closely with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Support architectural decisions and promote engineering best practices across the development lifecycle.Drive continuous improvement in software quality, DevOps practices, testing, and CI/CD processes.Remove delivery blockers and enable teams to perform at their best.Recruit, onboard, and retain exceptional engineering talent.Encourage innovation while balancing technical debt with product delivery.Contribute to technical discussions and provide guidance on complex engineering challenges. What do I need? Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, Software Development Manager, or Technical Lead with people management responsibilities.Strong commercial development experience using C# and .NET.Solid understanding of software architecture, APIs, microservices, and modern development practices.Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.Experience with CI/CD pipelines .Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing engineering talent.
