Job description
The Systems Manager oversees the company’s ERP system and related enterprise platforms, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Sweed, BioTrack, and other business-critical systems. This role is responsible for ensuring system performance, data integrity, workflow consistency, user support, and process governance across multiple facilities.
Partnering closely with the Director of Operations and Operations leadership, the Systems Manager drives process improvements through technology, standardization, and automation. Success is measured by system reliability, data accuracy, user adoption, timely issue resolution, process standardization, audit readiness, and the successful implementation of continuous improvement initiatives that support scalable, compliant operations., * Lead and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and related enterprise systems (Sweed, BioTrack, and other business platforms).
- Manage ERP workflows, system performance, data integrity, and process standardization across multiple facilities.
- Supervise and develop the ERP team, providing leadership, coaching, and performance management.
- Oversee the ERP support ticket process, ensuring timely issue resolution and exceptional user support.
- Ensure accurate inventory, production, and operational data through system controls, reconciliations, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Support integration and alignment between ERP, retail, compliance, and inventory management systems.
- Develop reports and dashboards to support operational, financial, and compliance decision-making.
- Create and maintain SOPs, user training, and documentation to promote consistent system usage.
- Lead ERP enhancements, system upgrades, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Operations, Finance, Compliance, Logistics, Cultivation, Manufacturing, and external vendors to improve business processes through technology.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with ERP systems, enterprise systems, business systems, or operational systems support, including experience supporting multi-site operations.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a comparable ERP system.
- Experience managing or leading ERP users, analysts, site leads, specialists, or systems support staff. Overall managing system support tickets, user escalations, issue resolution, and process documentation.
- Strong understanding of ERP workflows, inventory movement, production transactions, master data, user permissions, and reconciliation processes. Excel, reporting, data validation, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Compliance, Cultivation, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Retail teams
- Ability to travel 50% to Mount Dora facilities and other retail store locations when needed.
Preferred:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification strongly preferred, or willingness to obtain within a defined period after hire.
- Equivalent ERP certifications from systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Acumatica, Sage, or comparable platforms may be considered.
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate/Dynamics 365 Fundamentals/Dynamics 365 Fundamentals/Power Platform Fundamentals/Power BI Data Analyst Associate
- Experience with Sweed, BioTrack, Metrc, MJ Freeway, or other cannabis seed-to-sale systems.
- Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing, distribution, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, cannabis or other highly regulated operations.
- Experience leading system implementations, integrations, upgrades, or module rollouts.
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, APIs, middleware, data integrations, or system-to-system reconciliation.
- Experience supporting finance-related ERP workflows, inventory valuation, production costing, or month-end close processes.
