Job description

This role is ideal for a hands-on, self-directed web developer who can take ideas for graphics, layout, functionality, and integrations-and execute them independently.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for building, maintaining, and expanding our Shopify-hosted website, working closely with marketing, sales, and leadership to translate business needs into reliable technical solutions.
  • Shopify Development & Maintenance
  • Build, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using HTML,CSS,JavaScript, and Liquid.
  • Manage site structure, templates, product pages, collections, and landing pages.
  • Ensure consistent performance across browsers and devices.
  • Custom Features & Functionality
  • Design and develop custom site features beyond standard Shopify apps
  • Translate high-level feature ideas into fully functional implementations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or performance issues
  • Systems & Tool Integrations
  • Implement and maintain integrations with:
  • CRM platoforms (e.g., Hubspot)
  • Analytics tools ( Google Analytics, SEMrush, etc)
  • Other marketing,sales, operational tools
  • Work with API’s, webhooks, and third-party services as needed
  • Content & Design Execution
  • Create and edit website content, promotional elements, and layout updates
  • Design or adapt graphics and UI assets when needed
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, promotions, and SEO & initiatives
  • Performance, SEO & Optimization
  • Optimize page speed, site performance, and technical SEO
  • Ensure best practices for accessibility and usability
  • Support conversion rate optimization initiatives
  • Testing, QA & Documentation
  • Test all updates and features before deployment
  • Maintain documentation for custom code, integrations, and workflows
  • Use version control (Git) and follow clean development practices

Requirements

  • Proven experience developing and maintaining Shopify websites
  • Strong proficiency in: HTML, CSS, Javascript and Shopify Liquid
  • Experience working with API’s and third-party integrations
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage projects from idea to launch
  • Comfortable communicating technical concepts to non-technical team members
  • Experience with version control systems (Git)
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Shopify plus or custom Shopify app development
  • Graphic design or UI/UX experience (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Familiarity with backend or serverless tools (Node, js, webhooks, API’s)
  • Knowledge of SEO, analytics, and conversion optimization best practices
  • Degree in Computer Science, Web development, or related field (experience prioritized over formal education)

Benefits & conditions

Pay: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
