Job description

The client is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to own customer relationships end to end. Unlike traditional FDE roles where deployment is separate from product engineering, every engineer here is full-stack and customer-facing: you define scope of work with customers pre-sale, lead deployment after close, remain the customer’s primary technical contact, and own a slice of the underlying infrastructure (frontend, backend, or the AI agent layer).

Tech stack: Full-stack across frontend (React, TypeScript), backend services, and AI agent / LLM infrastructure., * Real end-to-end ownership: pre-sale scope, deployment, and ongoing technical contact all in one seat, not siloed across teams

  • Strong pedigree and momentum: Series A, a small world-class team, 10x ARR growth in six months, 10k+ requests a month
  • Breadth by design: full-stack across frontend, backend, and the AI agent layer
  • Sponsorship supported: H-1B and O-1 sponsorship is open and actively supported

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of full-stack engineering
  • Customer-facing across both pre-sale and post-sale
  • Able to define scope of work directly with customers
  • Owns a slice of backend infrastructure
  • Self-sufficient owning the customer relationship end to end

Nice to Haves

  • Prior forward-deployed or solutions-engineering experience at a real product company (e.g., Palantir, Anthropic, Scale, Cognition)
  • A full-stack engineer with a customer-facing track record who has shipped to clients and stayed with them post-launch
  • Comfortable defining scope of work in ambiguous customer conversations without escalating every decision
  • A healthcare, healthtech, or AI-agent-infrastructure background
  • Prior startup or founding-engineer experience wearing full-stack, customer-facing, and infra hats at once

About the company

Our client is a Series A healthcare company building the command center for healthcare cost containment - replacing the fax machines, phone calls, and manual clinical review that have defined utilization management for decades. Its AI agents read clinical documents, reason over medical criteria, and adjudicate prior-authorization cases in real time, cutting decision timelines from days to minutes. It already processes 10k+ prior-auth requests a month, reports a 65% lift in provider satisfaction, and 10x’d ARR over the last six months with an eight-figure ARR target by year end.
