Cybersecurity Specialist

We are a high-performance Managed Services Provider (MSP) delivering secure, scalable IT solutions for small to mid-sized businesses. We blend technical depth with business alignment to provide exceptional service, forward-thinking IT strategy, and a cybersecurity-first approach., As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you’ll be responsible for overseeing our core security stack and ensuring our clients meet compliance and risk requirements. This role combines SOC/SIEM management, Microsoft 365/Azure security, MDR coordination, and audit/compliance program leadership.

You’ll work closely with the leadership team and technical consultants to improve client security posture, respond to evolving threats, and support external compliance obligations (HIPAA, NIST, etc.)., * Manage SOC and SIEM tools across client environments

• Manage MDR operations , including incident review, escalation, and client response
• Administer and monitor Microsoft 365 and Azure security:
• Secure Score, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, Defender for Endpoint
• Alerts, logging, and policy enforcement
• Lead compliance management programs (HIPAA, NIST CSF, CIS Controls)
• Support and prepare clients for third-party audits or assessments
• Help define and enforce security policies, SOPs, and documentation
• Collaborate with internal IT consultants on best practices, secure deployments, and proactive improvements
• Review security posture regularly and recommend improvements

We’re looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to take ownership of security operations across our client base. If you’re highly technical, detail-oriented, and thrive in a role that blends compliance, engineering, and risk management, we want to talk to you., * Experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, or GRC in an MSP or IT services environment

• Hands-on experience with:
• MDR, Microsoft 365 Defender, Secure Score, and Azure AD
• SIEM/SOC tools
• Endpoint protection, MFA, and incident response workflows
• Familiarity with HIPAA, NIST CSF, or other regulatory standards
• Strong documentation and client communication skills
• Self-motivated and capable of owning and improving security workflows independently, * Microsoft certifications (SC-200, SC-300, MS-500)
• CompTIA Security+, CySA+, or CASP+
• CISSP, CISA, or equivalent (a plus, not required)
• Experience with policy writing, vendor risk management, and audit prep
