Job description

North Star Community Credit Union is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Operations Analyst to help protect the accuracy, reliability, and performance of the systems that support our employees and members.

This is more than a behind-the-scenes technology role. Your work will directly influence how efficiently our teams operate and how effectively we serve our communities.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will:

  • Monitor data, system processes, and operational workflows

  • Investigate discrepancies and identify root causes

  • Troubleshoot issues affecting branch and back-office operations

  • Create and validate accurate business reports

  • Work with SQL, Excel, databases, and integrated systems

  • Support system enhancements, upgrades, and process improvements

  • Partner with IT, operations, vendors, and business teams

Requirements

  • Enjoy analyzing information and solving complex problems
  • Have experience working with data, systems, operations, or technology
  • Are comfortable using SQL and Microsoft Excel
  • Communicate clearly with both technical and nontechnical teams
  • Notice details others may miss
  • Take ownership of issues and follow through on solutions
  • Enjoy improving processes and building more efficient ways of working, * Three to five years of similar or related experience
  • A bachelor’s degree or recognized professional certifications equivalent to a degree
  • Knowledge of SQL, Excel, computer systems, hardware, and software
  • Basic understanding of Windows Server systems and networking
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Benefits & conditions

Starting Salary: $62,404 Annually Full-Time | Monday-Friday
