  • Conduct mock surveys at community sites; support communities through state and federal compliance surveys and investigations.

Resident Care

  • Identify underperforming communities against KPI benchmarks; partner with regional and community leadership to establish improvement goals and provide coaching.
  • Conduct Care Audits to verify resident assessment accuracy, care level assignments, and billing alignment.
  • Provide strategic direction for assessment programs and individualized care planning that addresses residents’ health, functional, and psychosocial needs.
  • Develop and deliver training programs for clinical staff across the portfolio; contribute to the evolution of clinical policies and procedures.
  • Review community incident reports; develop and monitor Plans of Correction in accordance with Spectrum policies.
  • Use data-driven analysis (including Statistical Process Control) to improve care outcomes and support deficiency-free state surveys.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of regional, corporate, or executive-level clinical leadership in senior living or healthcare.
  • Deep expertise in state and federal regulations governing assisted living and senior care, including survey processes.
  • Geriatric assessment expertise and working knowledge of dementia care best practices.
  • Strong analytical mindset - able to identify trends, build corrective action plans, and present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Exceptional communicator and cross-functional collaborator with the ability to influence teams at all levels.
