Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience and expert understanding of identity and access control, logging, and reporting systems
  • 5+ years of experience and expertise in automation development using tools such as Python and Bash
  • 5+ years of experience with Linux, Windows, and network security protocols and procedures
  • 5+ years of experience supporting large IT environments and/or system deployments
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity awareness and understanding

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Information Security; OR
  • 8+ years of work experience as a Security Architect may be substituted in lieu of education

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of SIEM analysis and reporting
  • Knowledge of security frameworks including NIST, CSF, CJIS, IRS 1075, and CMS MARS-E
  • Knowledge of application security (AppSec)

Certifications

  • CISSP, CISA, CISO, or equivalent advanced security certification
  • Additional relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, GPEN
  • Vendor certifications in SIEM or logging technologies

Lumen and / or its clients will not provide equipment (Laptop, monitor, etc.) to the selected contractor. The contractor must have their own equipment. Access to a virtual desktop set up (software) will be provided by Lumen’s client, allowing the user access to the required systems and technology.
