Requirements
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain a Secret clearance.\n
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.\n
- 5+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience.\n

Extensive hands-on experience administering:\n \n
- Oracle Database 19c or newer\n, * Experience applying Oracle Critical Patch Updates and Release Updates.\n
- Strong knowledge of Oracle security best practices.\n
- Experience supporting production enterprise database environments.\n, * Experience supporting DoD, DFAS, or Federal Government programs.\n
- Experience operating within IL5, RMF, NIST 800-53, and DISA STIG environments.\n

Experience with:\n \n
- Oracle RAC\n
- Oracle Data Guard\n
- Oracle GoldenGate\n

Oracle Exadata\n \n
- Experience supporting Oracle workloads hosted in Azure, OCI, or AWS.\n
- Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture principles.\n
- Experience integrating Oracle with Microsoft Entra ID and enterprise identity management solutions.\n
- Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification preferred.\n
- Oracle Certified Master (OCM) highly desired.\n
Benefits & conditions
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Oracle Database Administration, Oracle Grid Infrastructure, ASM, security controls, performance tuning, and high-availability architectures supporting federal mission systems.\n \n \nResponsibilities:\n \n \n
- Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain Oracle Database environments.\n
- Administer Oracle Grid Infrastructure, Oracle Restart, and ASM storage environments.\n
- Implement Oracle quarterly Release Updates (RU), OJVM patches, and security updates.\n
- Monitor database health, availability, performance, and capacity utilization.\n
- Perform database performance tuning and SQL optimization activities.\n
- Configure and maintain backup and recovery solutions using Oracle RMAN.\n
- Develop and test disaster recovery procedures and recovery strategies.\n

Implement Oracle security controls including:\n \n
- Transparent Data Encryption (TDE)\n
- Oracle Label Security (OLS)\n
- Oracle Database Vault (DV)\n
- Unified Auditing\n

Database Roles and Privileges\n \n
- Configure and maintain Oracle networking components including Listeners, TCPS, and Oracle Net Services.\n
- Support database deployments across development, test, staging, and production environments.\n
- Collaborate with application developers, architects, cybersecurity teams, and system administrators.\n
- Support vulnerability remediation and compliance activities including STIG implementation.\n
- Develop automation scripts for operational and maintenance tasks.\n
- Perform root cause analysis and incident resolution.\n
- Maintain operational documentation and standard operating procedures.\n
