Job description

  • Utilize Linux and scripting expertise to support and field critical customer-driven requirements enabling secure data transfer.
  • Engage directly with customers to provide advanced design, analysis, and implementation of Everfox software.
  • Work hands-on in Linux-based environments, troubleshooting on-site technical issues and configuring Cross Domain solutions to meet customer needs.
  • Apply standard networking concepts to support design and implementation of Cross Domain solutions, including failover, load balancing, interoperability, and co-op configurations.
  • Develop data inspection policies using proprietary and open-source programming languages.
  • Provide technical briefings to customers and Everfox leadership.
  • Deliver training, troubleshooting, and on-site/remote support for mission-specific requirements.

Full-time, Monday-Friday, with flexibility for mission-critical requirements. This position requires a minimum of 50% travel to CONUS and OCONUS customer facilities as needed.

Employees are geographically dispersed across the continental U.S. While Everfox has office concentrations in Herndon, VA; Richardson, TX; and Salt Lake City, UT, applicants may work remotely with management approval.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph (required).
  • 4+ years of experience supporting enterprise software solutions in a cyber engineer role.
  • Advanced experience in Linux and scripting.
  • Strong software development experience in procedural programming languages.
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to relay technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Interest or experience in cybersecurity methodologies, technologies, application design, development, or operational environments.
  • Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, firewalls, routers, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of programming logic and methodologies (including regular expressions).
  • BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or equivalent.
  • DoD 8570.1-M compliance at IAT Level I; SANS GSEC and CISSP preferred.

  • Experience with security design and architecture for Cross Domain Solutions (CDS).
  • Working knowledge of virtualized, networked environments (VMWare, Hyper-V).
  • Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
  • Experience integrating security COTS products (firewalls, web gateways, DLP tools).
  • Ability to prepare documentation supporting A&A activities.
  • Knowledge of current IA policies contributing to secure solution architecture and design.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is: $84,900.00-114,100.00 USD

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates’ unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
