Job description
- Assist in compliance with PHMSA Underground Gas Storage regulations.
- Maintain TaskOP data management system and ensure its accuracy and reliability.
- Prepare for and participate in PHMSA inspections, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the processes and regulations involved.
- Monitor SIMP progress, providing regular updates and reports to the management team.
- Assist in managing gas storage projects, including preparing and performing business cases, investment authorization requests, project schedules, contractor work scopes, bid evaluations, material specifications, material orders, invoice approvals, contractor field management, and project cost control.
- Collect and input gas data accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date and reliable.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of procedures, ensuring they are in line with current regulations and best practices., We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gas Storage Specialist to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in assisting with compliance with PHMSA Underground Gas Storage regulations and managing gas storage projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the TaskOP data management system, experience preparing for and participating in PHMSA inspections, and a track record of monitoring SIMP progress. Requirements
- Proven experience with PHMSA Underground Gas Storage regulations and the TaskOP data management system.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in managing gas storage projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to collect and input gas data accurately and efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of business case preparation, investment authorization requests, project scheduling, and contractor work scope preparation.
- Proven experience in bid evaluations, material specifications, material ordering, invoice approvals, contractor field management, and project cost control.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues promptly and effectively.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
