Senior Data/AI Engineer

As a Senior Data/AI Engineer, you play a key role in challenging data and AI projects. You combine technical depth with coaching and help colleagues and clients make the right decisions. You are a technical go-to expert, contribute to architecture discussions, and guide projects from design to implementation. What do we expect from you?

• At least 5 years of experience in data engineering, data science, machine learning, and/or MLOps.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, Python, SQL, data modelling, and modern AI tooling, focused on building production-ready solutions.
• Experience guiding and coaching colleagues.
• The ability to explain technical choices clearly to a variety of stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
• A proactive attitude and entrepreneurial mindset.

Together with colleagues in East Netherlands, the other Datacation offices, and our domain leads, you will help build a strong local foundation, way of working, and quality standard.
