Job description
- This role is hands on and focused on driving technical direction, there are no people leadership responsibilities involved.
- You will be working on greenfield projects where you can influence and improve the technical health of the product, whilst being trusted to make major technical decisions.
- This role is available due to internal promotion to Engineering Manager. There is an opportunity for similar progression in the future.
- Tech Stack - Java 25, Spring boot, React, Postgres & AWS.
Requirements
- You have proven experience of setting technical direction and driving innovation.
- You take ownership of driving a product and taking it to the next level.
- The team have some agentic workflows set up in Claude, so a background with agentic coding and GenAI would be ideal.
- Hands on experience with Java (Ideally 25) building APIs and microservices with Spring Boot is essential.

78k plus a bonus of up to 20% (£93,600 package)
