Job description

Are you an experienced IT Support professional looking for a role where you can develop your technical skills while gaining exposure to business systems and ERP administration?, We’re looking for an IT Support Analyst to join our team and provide high-quality technical support across a modern Microsoft technology environment. Alongside supporting users and maintaining the IT estate, you’ll also have the opportunity to develop specialist skills and be trained to become an ERP Administrator, taking ownership of a key business system.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with users and wants to expand their career beyond traditional IT support.

The Role

Working as part of the IT team, you’ll provide support across hardware, software and Microsoft platforms, ensuring users have the technology and support they need to work effectively.

Over time, you’ll also develop knowledge of the company’s ERP system, supporting its administration, configuration and ongoing improvement.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing 1st and 2nd line technical support to users across the business
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software and connectivity issues
  • Supporting Microsoft 365 applications including Teams, Outlook and SharePoint
  • Managing user accounts, permissions and access through Active Directory / Entra ID
  • Supporting laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripherals
  • Assisting with device builds, deployments and configuration
  • Managing and prioritising tickets through the service desk system
  • Working with colleagues and third-party suppliers to resolve technical issues
  • Supporting the administration, maintenance and development of the ERP system following training
  • Helping to improve business processes, documentation and system usage

Requirements

We’re looking for someone with a strong background in IT support who is keen to learn, develop and take on additional responsibility.

You’ll ideally have experience with:

  • Providing 1st and/or 2nd line IT support in a business environment
  • Microsoft technologies including Windows, Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
  • User administration and troubleshooting within Microsoft environments
  • Hardware setup, configuration and support
  • IT service management tools and ticketing systems
  • Working to SLAs and managing priorities effectively

Experience with Microsoft Intune, device management or ERP systems would be advantageous, but training will be provided for the right person.

Benefits & conditions

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive IT team where you can develop a broad skillset across infrastructure, Microsoft technologies and business applications.

You’ll initially focus on IT support before developing into an ERP Administrator role, giving you the chance to build a valuable combination of technical and business systems experience.

  • Salary up to £40,000
  • Permanent position
  • Office-based in Beeston, Nottinghamshire
  • Full training provided to develop ERP administration skills
  • Opportunity for long-term career development
