Job description
We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise data architecture solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud data platforms, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, data governance, and modern data warehousing technologies. This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analytics teams to build high-performance, secure, and scalable data solutions., * Design and implement enterprise-scale data architecture solutions.
- Develop logical and physical data models for operational and analytical systems.
- Build scalable data pipelines using modern cloud technologies.
- Define enterprise data standards, governance, and best practices.
- Optimize data storage, query performance, and data processing workflows.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Lead data migration and modernization initiatives.
- Ensure data quality, security, and compliance across enterprise systems.
- Mentor Data Engineers and provide architectural guidance.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in Data Engineering/Data Architecture.
- Strong expertise in Data Architecture and Enterprise Data Modeling.
- Hands-on experience with AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, Athena, Redshift, IAM, EMR).
- Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or similar cloud data platforms.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
- Experience designing Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Lakehouse architectures.
- Expertise in ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica, dbt, Talend, SnapLogic, or AWS Glue.
- Experience with Python or Scala for data processing.
- Strong understanding of Data Governance, Data Quality, Metadata Management, and Master Data Management (MDM).
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines for data solutions.
- Knowledge of data security, encryption, and compliance standards.
- Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QuickSight., * Experience with Azure or Google Cloud Platform is a plus.
- Knowledge of streaming technologies such as Kafka or Kinesis.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Familiarity with AI/ML data platforms is preferred.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
