Sr Network Engineer

Our client, a large professional services firm, is hiring a remote, full-time Sr. Network Engineer with expert-level knowledge in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise LAN, WAN, and SDN infrastructure. Core expertise areas include campus/branch routing and switching, SD-WAN, SD-Access, SD-Branch, and next-gen security integration. Working in a professional services capacity, this engineer delivers complex multi-site, multi-domain solutions across various vendor platforms (Cisco primary), while mentoring junior engineers and independently handling high-level design and configuration tasks.

• 7+ years enterprise LAN/WAN experience; CCNP required (CCIE preferred)
• Hands-on routing/switching (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), WAN design (MPLS, DIA, QoS), and LAN fundamentals (VLANs, STP, LACP)
• NGFW experience (Firepower, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
• At least one SDN platform required; automation (Python/Ansible/Terraform), SASE, cloud connectivity, and observability tools a plus
• Prior lead/senior engineering experience in VAR/professional services preferred
• Top Secret clearance preferred/obtainable
• Must be open to travel up to 50%
