Internal SAP Senior Consultant Finance & Controlling

• Rollout, integration, and continuous enhancement of the global Finance & Controlling SAP template.
• Active support of global SAP rollout activities, including training, testing, data migration, and go-live support.
• Implementation and configuration of SAP Finance & Controlling functionalities (ideally S/4HANA).
• Identification and realization of optimization and improvement opportunities within Finance & Controlling processes and systems.
• Close collaboration and alignment with end-to-end (E2E) global process management teams.

• Senior-level expertise in SAP Finance & Controlling, preferably in SAP S/4HANA, including Fiori.
• Additional knowledge of related tools such as Financial Supply Chain Management (FSCM), Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), and/or SAP Analytics Cloud (Planning) is a strong advantage.
• Proven experience with global SAP rollouts and template localization.
• University degree in economics, engineering, healthcare management, or a comparable qualification.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
• Structured, analytical, and solution-driven working style with a high level of independence.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written); German language skills are a plus.
• Strong numerical understanding and analytical capabilities.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.

As an Internal SAP Senior Consultant - Finance & Controlling, you will play a key role in shaping and stabilizing SYNLAB’s global Finance & Controlling landscape. Acting as a subject matter expert within the international SAP Centre of Excellence, you will support the rollout, integration, and continuous improvement of the global SAP template across multiple countries.

You will work closely with global process owners, local finance teams, and IT colleagues to ensure standardized, compliant, and efficient end-to-end finance processes. The role combines hands-on SAP configuration with advisory responsibilities, contributing directly to the success of SYNLAB’s ongoing international growth and system harmonization.
