Remote AI Architect

Insight Global is seeking a hands-on Lead AI Agent Architect to build an AI powered software engineering platform that transforms how technology solutions are delivered. This role will design, develop, and deploy a multi agent ecosystem that automates key software development lifecycle activities, including requirements analysis, solution design, code generation, testing, documentation, and release preparation. The ideal candidate is a builder with deep software engineering and AI expertise who can independently create AI agents that work together as a digital engineering workforce. This individual will rapidly deliver proof of concepts, deploy production solutions, and establish a scalable foundation for AI driven software engineering.

The primary objective of this role is to build an AI powered software engineering factory that converts business requirements into production ready software through a coordinated ecosystem of AI agents with appropriate human oversight, resulting in measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and delivery speed.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents that automate software engineering workflows.
• Create solutions that convert BRDs, user stories, enhancement requests, and defect tickets into technical deliverables.
• Develop agent orchestration frameworks that enable AI agents to collaborate across requirements, architecture, development, testing, and documentation.
• Integrate AI agents with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise platforms.
• Implement governance, security controls, human approval gates, and auditability throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Measure and demonstrate productivity gains, delivery acceleration, and quality improvements enabled by AI.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and establish a roadmap for scaling AI driven software engineering capabilities.

• 10+ years of software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise application development experience.

• 3+ years of experience building AI powered applications using Generative AI and Large Language Models. come in and build AI factory -

• Strong software architecture, system design, and application development experience.
• Expert level Python development skills.
• Experience with APIs, cloud platforms, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and software engineering best practices.
• Proven ability to independently deliver complex technical solutions from concept through production deployment.
