Job description

This is an ideal opportunity for professionals who enjoy travel and hands-on work in a variety of environments. This position requires 100% travel (all expenses paid) throughout the US, supporting client locations and delivering exceptional service. If you thrive in a dynamic role where no two days are the same, we’‘d love to hear from you., We are seeking a Network Installation Technician to install, configure, and support network infrastructure and connected technology systems at customer locations across the U.S. This hands-on, field-based role is ideal for someone with experience in structured cabling, network hardware deployments, low-voltage systems, and basic network troubleshooting., * Install, terminate, test, and troubleshoot structured cabling (Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6a) and network hardware, including switches, patch panels, and wireless access points.

  • Deploy and configure Verkada or similar access control and security systems, including readers, controllers, door hardware, and low-voltage cabling.
  • Troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues, verify IP addressing and VLAN configurations, and work with engineering teams to resolve more complex issues.
  • Maintain installation documentation, equipment records, and network diagrams while coordinating with customers, vendors, and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Must possess a valid driver’’s license and be comfortable with frequent overnight travel., * 2+ years of experience with structured cabling, low-voltage installations, or network infrastructure deployments.
  • Experience with network hardware installations and access control/security systems (Verkada preferred).
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, VLANs, DHCP, and switching.
  • Experience using cable testing and certification tools.
  • Valid driver’’s license and willingness to travel extensively throughout the U.S.
