Tooling Aviation Operations Innovation Electronics Blueprinting Communication Test Equipment Asset Tracking Microsoft Excel Health Advocacy Computer Science Network Switches Electromechanics Hardware Installations New Product Development Artificial Intelligence Electrostatic Discharge Discounts And Allowances Employee Assistance Programs Troubleshooting (Problem Solving) Engineering Plans And Specifications, We are seeking a dedicated Hardware Technician to support New Product Introduction (NPI), rack integration, and lab operations within a dynamic engineering and validation environment. This role involves performing complex rack builds, hardware integration, system validation, troubleshooting, and laboratory support functions while ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards. Responsibilities
- Build server racks according to engineering specifications and build documentation.
- Install and integrate servers, storage systems, network switches, power shelves, PDUs, liquid cooling components, and cabling infrastructure.
- Perform rack-level hardware installations, modifications, and upgrades.
- Ensure rack build quality meets engineering and manufacturing standards.
- Prepare systems for testing and validation.
- Coordinate equipment setup and teardown activities.
- Assist with lab moves, reconfigurations, and equipment deployment.
- Maintain organized workspaces and support lab standardization initiatives.
- Support lab asset tracking and inventory activities.
Requirements
- Troubleshooting, rework, test equipment, hardware testing, software installation.
- Proficiency in electronics, schematic, blueprint, Linux, C++.
- Associate degree in Electronics, Computer Technology, Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Mechanical aptitude, skilled with tools and working with your hands.
- Ability to consistently lift 25lbs.
- Work with precision tooling in small places.
- Understanding of general safety guidelines and practices.
- General knowledge of electro-mechanical functionality.
- Excellent communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a high-security, clean environment.
- Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) practices.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, CA. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr.
