Requirements

  • 20+ years of experience as a Software Engineer supporting government contracts or similar
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and enhancing complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing-intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real-time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements
  • Experience reviewing and testing software components for adherence to the design requirements and documenting test results
  • Experience utilizing software development and software design methodologies
  • Experience with Java, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes and JIRA
  • Experience with OCI-compliant containers and container orchestration
  • Ability to provide specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and status updates to peers and management
  • Ability to work well with a small team on fast-paced development and operational projects
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree or a HS Diploma and 24+ years of experience as a Software Engineer

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Python 3.12, asyncio and pydantic libraries
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools
  • Experience with Atlassian products (Jira & Confluence)
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and front-end build processes
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms

Benefits & conditions

Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $100.18 to $120.20 per hour. The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of EverWatch’s total compensation package for employees.
